The south-facing position of Auris means you get great views of la Meije mountain and L'Ecrins National Park. Most importantly, Auris has access to some fantastic skiing. At a local resort level, there are wide and inviting slopes great for everyone from beginners finding their feet, up to solid intermediates. There is also a separate beginners area with soft runs, as well as two brand new magic carpets. Beyond that, 28 new snow cannons guarantee the link between the resort and the direct lift over to Alpe d'Huez ski area whatever the weather, throughout the season. Alpe d'Huez opens up 240km of skiable piste in the Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine, prime for riders of any ability.
Back in resort level there are an array of family activities to get stuck into to make the most of your time in the beautiful Auris-en-Oisans. Test your skills in the dark with torchlit descents and night skiing, or try something new and thrilling with the kids snow tubing or even mountain biking down the mountain. Had enough of the slopes? Well head back into the village and carry on the fun with a kids' disco, karaoke, film screenings and on some nights a games and aperitif evening.
