Tucked just off Arinsal’s main street, this typical stone hotel is just the thing for a laid-back ski trip. It’s perfectly placed for making the most of the resort without being right in the hustle and bustle – you’re only 2 minutes’ walk from all the restaurants and bars, and it’s a 4-minute walk to the gondola.
Inside, things are what you’d expect from a simple stay. The rooms are light and fuss-free, but the mountain views do all the talking. The real highlights here are the two bars – get a round in at the main bar and have a friendly game of table football, or make your way downstairs to the British-style pub for some toe-tapping music and a pool tournament. And for some post-ski R&R, take a dip in the hotel pool.
When it comes to food, it’s buffets all round. Load up on pastries, fruit and cereal for breakfast, and for your evening meal, fill your plate with French and Spanish-inspired dishes for your starter, main and dessert.
