  • So what's it like?

At the heart of Pas de la Casa is the Hotel de les Pistes, with easy access to the mountain. You’ll be based at the foot of the slopes, just a few minutes away from the lifts, meaning you’ll be on and off the slopes in no time. This leaves you with plenty of time to enjoy the lively après scene that Pas is famous for, or bask in the balmy Pyrenean sunshine.

It’s a small, fuss-free hotel with 24 modest and comfy bedrooms – perfect for groups who want an affordable, friendly base for the week. Many of the rooms also have views of the slopes, so you can open your curtains to fantastic mountain views each morning. Downstairs, there’s a quirky bar and a sun terrace looking out onto the slopes. Head there in the afternoon to kick off your après with live music or grab a spot in the lounge to unwind and chat about the day's adventures.

You can fill up each morning on pastries, cereals and continental goodies from the buffet breakfast. And in the evenings, you can settle down for dinner at the onsite restaurant, which has a varied menu and its own pizza oven. If you don’t want to fork out for lunch on the mountain, you can upgrade to full board and take daily light lunches on the hotel’s outdoor terrace.

    What's Nearby

The Hotel de les Pistes enjoys a favourable position at the foot of the slopes with a short walk to both the TSF 4 Solana and TSF 4 Costa Rodana. The latter is the best way to access the huge Grandvalira ski area, taking you over the peak and down into the next valley. On the descent back into town though, you have a few choices. Intermediates can take the Tubs blue, or the Directa red runs, while experts might prefer the FIS run. The hotel’s position in town is pretty unbeatable, too. On the Carrer Bearn, the property is surrounded by a selection of bars and eateries including Burger King and Bo & Gola tapas bar, while Paddy’s Irish bar is a short walk up the road.

Ratings

With all the various national tourist boards applying widely varying criteria to hotel ratings, the whole question of international hotel grades has become confused. We have therefore applied our own 'rating', representing the general standards of that country in order that fairer comparisons can be made.

Please note: rating may differ from the official star rating of the local tourist board. Our classifications take into account not only the basic facilities, but also the location, leisure facilities, general character and atmosphere of the hotel, as well as customer feedback. Chalet ratings give comparisons with other chalets but do not provide like for like comparisons with the ratings of full service hotels.

Your package price and availability

Our website's prices and flight, accommodation and room availability are updated every morning. To calculate average price per person, applicable discounts are subtracted from your total cost, which is then divided by the number of adults and children (excluding infants). A full price breakdown can be viewed on the payment page.

In some circumstances, prices and availability may update during the day so you may find price/availability differences later in the booking process.

This is usually due to high demand for the selected holiday. Should you have any issues with this, please contact us or see here for more information.
