Austria 2012

“SKIING, comedy, music. Not a bad combination, in anyone’s book. Hence, the fun had at Altitude Festival this year was – by my maths – at least three times better than any mountain break previously taken.” Tommy Holgate, The Sun Comedy Columnist.

For the thrill seeking advanced skier there’s the ‘Harakiri’ – the steepest pisted black run in Austria, and the Horberg ski area also offers a number of exciting long runs like the challenging Schafskopf mogul run.

Skiing and snowboarding aside, the resort of Mayrhofen has excellent restaurants, luxurious hotels and enticing spas, providing something for everyone in the family. With a lively nightlife and an attractive Tirolean centre Mayrhofen has plenty to entertain all ages and budgets.
