Levi, one of Finland’s top resorts, will official open a new spa and leisure complex ready for next winter, later this month on 19th August, with its official opening in early September.
The remarkable new Water World Spa will feature 17 indoor and outdoor pools of varying kinds, several on split levels and of varying levels of warmth. There will also be nine saunas as well as a gym. It will offer spa treatments and other health and beauty services with the MediLevi service employing specialist doctors and nurses.
“The new water world will be unique and full of surprising contrasts: pools with water temperature ranging from hot to cold, a winter landscape with snowfall, a blue twilight moment, a refreshing mountain stream next to a hot pool, and outdoor pools.
The mood of the pool section may be changed by light and sound effects – Northern lights and stars on the sky and sparkling diamonds on the bottom of the pools. Over the murmur of the water, one may listen to various sounds from music to animal cries.” said a statement from the Hotel Levitunturi where the new facility is located, replacing their old pool.
The complex will also house new cafés and restaurants, a new children’s playhouse, an eight lane bowling alley, tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, floor hockey.
