Stuben is a small, friendly town in the heart of Austria’s largest linked ski area.
- In the extensive Arlberg ski region, with 305km of slopes to explore.
- A more peaceful resort to its lively neighbour, St Anton.
- Friendly, unspoilt village with an authentic Austrian atmosphere.
Although there’s a relatively small selection of restaurants in the town you’re bound to find something to satisfy your taste buds and if not, nearby towns Zürs and St Christoph are just a local bus or taxi ride away. This means that if you do fancy a night or two of lively après then you can easily head to St Anton, which is renowned for its incredible après and then you can retreat back to the peace of Stuben that same night.
The local slopes in Stuben have everything an intermediate skier is looking for – it’s known as the powder capital of the Arlberg ski region with 12 metres of snow each season on average. So grab your boots and get out onto the mountains of Arlberg – there’s loads of off-piste to explore if you’re more advanced and Stuben has a ski school for beginners who are learning the ropes.
