Learning to snowboard takes time and patience. Once you've got through that tricky first day or two, you'll soon realise why so many people love this great sport. Give yourself the best chance of picking up all the skills with our learn to snowboard packages.

To make the learning curve even easier we've set up first-time board packages to help you achieve those first turns.

Having beginners' lessons from a qualified snowboarding instructor is absolutely essential. To help you on your way several of our resorts have specially priced beginners packages, which include a lift pass, board and boot hire as well as tuition, in many cases with specialist snowboard schools. So now there's no excuse not to have a go, just check out the table below and decide where you want to go.

First-time board from £99 per adult and £99 per child.

For complete beginners who have never put on a ski/board before, these are the packs for you. They offer the best price on all the items you need to get you on the mountain and are only available to pre-book. First-time ski/board inlcudes:

• 6 day standard ski or board hire and boots
• Lift pass*
• Ski/board tuition**

* In some resorts, where beginner lifts are free, lift passes are of differing durations to match when ski schools reckon you will be ready to progress further around the mountain. In other resorts the lift pass type varies from beginner through to area passes.

** Lesson durations vary by resort.
