  • So what's it like?

    Amazing champagne powder snow conditions

    Known as the home of “Champagne Powder” Steamboat is renowned for its excellent snow quality and the quantity in which it falls. Fantastic skiing for all abilities, some of the best tree runs in the USA and excellent child care make Steamboat popular with all demographics. The ski village at the base of the slopes offers a variety of evening entertainment and restaurants and acts as a contrast to the real cowboy town of Steamboat Springs, under 10 minutes on the free shuttle, with its wild west atmosphere.

    Beginners

    The mountain is designed for teaching beginners and tuition from the excellent ski school will soon lead you to great transitionary runs in the Sunshine bowl.

    Intermediates

    With easy, sunny slopes to really boost your confidence, you can simply cruise from dawn to dusk on runs such as Buddy's Run, High Noon and Heavenly Daze.

    Advanced

    Steamboat is recognised as having the best tree-skiing in Colorado, with runs like Shadows and Twilight bringing you down through soft, deep powder in snow-clad pine and aspen groves.
