A traditional Alpine village, Livigno is nestled in a wide, remote valley near the Swiss border. With its duty free status, the friendly resort offers a great choice of bars, restaurants and boutiques as well as vibrant cafes and a popular apres scene. The resort is also renowned for its amazing variety of snowparks and lively nightlife, making it an attractive choice for younger visitors.

    Ski information

    Beginners

A great choice for beginners, Livigno has many drag lifts serving sunny meadows near to the village, these are the perfect place to learn and improve before heading up the mountain. The good news is that because the resort is at high altitude, the snow is usually top quality even at village height.

    Intermediates

Lots of the terrain above the village is perfect for intermediates, some adventurous beginners may even make it up to the wide sunny slopes here by the end of their first week. Head above the treeline to the Carosello 3000 ski area, accessed from the southern end of the village, for a selection of exciting wide reds.

    Advanced

Advanced skiers should head to the Monte Della Neve served by the Mottolino gondola, before descending from it's 2,785m summit down either of the resort's two black runs.
