So what's it like?
Les Orres 1800 is a new resort built in 2008 with nearly 90km of pistes and brand new high quality apartments. Ideally suited to beginners and intermediates with wide slopes and pretty tree runs. The resort is a great family choice with skiing to your doorstep, resort childcare from 6 months and outdoor swimming pools for evening entertainment. Nearby Les Orres 1650 is the older, established area of the resort and offers an additional choice of restaurants, shops and an ice-rink.
Ski information
Beginners
A superb choice for beginners , there are several gentle green runs that lead right down into 1800 and a beginners area where you can develop your first turns. For children there is a kids beginner area right at the foot of the slopes.
Intermediates
Intermediates will enjoy the wide open slopes of Les Orres as well as some very pretty routes between the trees. Try the Genépi and Grand Cobone runs (both marked as picturesque routes) or head over to 1650 for some more challenging slopes.
Advanced
Les Orres is more of a beginner/intermediate resort, but if you are looking for a challenge there are 3 black runs and a snow park to get your heart pumping!
Nightlife
Quiet nightlife with a couple of bars in 1800, nightclub and several more bars in Les Orres 1650 (bus ride away)

Ice skating, winter luge, snow shoeing and parapenting
Eating out
Les Orres 1800 has a couple of restaurants and a well stocked supermarket for nights in. For a wider choice of restaurants take the bus to 1650 (5 mins).
