So what's it like?
A charming, authentic French village with superb skiing
This Savoyarde farming village still retains its traditional charm, original buildings and chalet style new builds sit side-by-side in this sunny outpost of the Portes du Soleil ski area. Les Gets ski resort offers fantastic views, varied terrain and superb tree lined slopes shared with nearby Morzine. Most of the resort facilities are close to the main lift station and there is a free ski bus should you need to get around the village or over to Morzine. For families, there are plenty of non-skiing activities to keep everyone occupied. The resort offers both a nursery for very young children and ski kindergarten for older children. There are a good choice of restaurants and shops lining the main street as well as a popular outdoor ice rink which adds to the evening atmosphere.

Beginners
The area offers easily accessible runs of every level, making it ideal for beginners to gradually progress.
Intermediates
The Portes du Soleil circuit offers a wide choice of slopes and the local slopes in Les Gets, including the excellent reds on Mont Chéry, make for some great skiing.
Advanced
The world famous ‘Wall’, a very steep black run, guards the French/Swiss border. There are many other testing blacks, including the World Cup run from Hautes Fortes. The open slopes of Chamossière offers some of the best off-piste, with superb steep runs in the Linga and Pre-la-Joux area.
