Nail the basics or blow off the cobwebs
If you're new to skiing then the first couple of days on the slopes can be tough while you learn the basics. It doesn't take long to find your ski legs and by the end of the week you'll be loving it, but the first lessons can sometimes feel a bit daunting.
However, the UK now has a range of indoor ski slopes where you can go and get the basics out of the way before you head to the slopes. They're also great if you haven't been skiing for a while and you want to blow off the cobwebs before going back.
