How to prepare for skiing and boarding
Skiing is a very physical activity so it's good to prepare yourself for the potential strains you'll put your body under. It's obviously great fun but being on the slopes all day can take it out of you.
Improving your flexibility, strength and stamina are all key to making the most of your time on the slopes.
Work on your flexibility by doing lots of stretching and warming up in the weeks before your holiday. Thigh and leg muscles are good areas to focus on for strength, but don't neglect the upper body. And lastly, general stamina improvement will help you get the most of your time on the slopes.
