Resort Information
Spectacularly situated beneath the majestic Matterhorn, Zermatt has everything to offer in the way of fantastic skiing, picturesque surroundings and a lively nightlife. On arrival, by train from the village of Täsch, you will find the vibrant village centre entirely car-free, with only electric taxis and horse drawn sleighs, and streets packed with beautiful shops and boutiques.
This is one of Europe's top skiing resorts and you will enjoy the vast ski area that also covers Cervinia in Italy.

Lively nightlife with an excellent range of cafés and bars · Papperla bar, Elsie's place, the bar Vernissage, the Village, Brown Cow and the Pink Elephant for jazz.Try also the Pollux and Alex discos and the Broken Barrel.
Eating out

Family choice
There are two kindergarten/crèches. Cost approx. SFr370 for 5 full days including lunch (0915-1600). Half-days can also be booked. The Pumuckel has qualified, English speaking nannies to look after children from 2-5 years old. Open daily from 0900-1700 and children over 6 can take basic ski lessons. Cost approx. SFr90 per day for a full day with lunch.the savings
