Intro
Nendaz and Veysonnaz are small resorts offering an excellent value alternative to Verbier, with quick and easy access to the 412km of piste in the 4 Valleys circuit, plus plenty of terrain in the local ski areas. Nendaz is the larger of the resorts with good family facilities and plenty of non-skiing activities, restaurants and several bars. Veysonnaz is a quiet hamlet with doorstep skiing to the hotels and great value self-catering accommodation.

Nendaz Nightlife
Nendaz: Choose from lively nightlife with après ski bars and live music to piano bars and relaxed cafés. Why not try Bal, Malabar, Cactus Saloon, Mazot and Tchin Tchin piano bar.
Veysonnaz: Quiet hamlet with a couple of local bars, very low key.

Nendaz is a great choice for families and has been awarded a ‘Families Welcome’ accreditation by the Swiss Tourism Federation. Family facilities include:
• Ski lessons from 3 yrs upwards in the snow garden at Siviez• Nursery 'Garderie P’tit Bec' for children from 18 months to 6 yrs who can enjoy indoor and outdoor play, arts and crafts. Located near the sports centre in the village and open Mon-Fri 7am-7pm. Approx. cost £7 per hour and £3.50 for lunch.

The slopes
Ski Information Beginners
There are some excellent nursery slopes in a great location high above Nendaz, at 2200m on the frozen lake at Tracouet. With easy access via the gondola from the village you'll enjoy breathtaking views over the valley. From Veysonnaz try the easy blues at the top of the gondola, also with spectacular views.
Ski Information Intermediates
You'll find 220km of fantastic intermediate terrain in the local Printz ski region including Nendaz, Siviez, Thyon and Veysonnaz. For varied skiing, scenic tree-lined descents and breathtaking views the area is hard to beat. Within easy reach is the 4 Valleys area where you'll find steeper runs to tackle as well as unbeatable snow conditions on the glacier.
Ski Information Advanced
There is fantastic off-piste terrain throughout the local Printz area as well as 12 black runs including the superb Plan du Fou, Greppon Blanc and Gentiannes runs. Take the FREE ski bus to Siviez, on the edge of the renowned 4 Valleys area where you'll find plenty of challenging black mogul fields and itinerary routes.
Ski Information Snowboarding
Freeriding has long been a part of the local culture and the area boasts untouched powder, varied natural terrain and both an advanced and beginners snow park at Tracouet. The steep powder fields in the Verbier/Mont Fort area open up an unlimited number of challenges.
