Resort Information
The pretty village of Lauterbrunnen is at the head of a gorge of waterfalls, below Wengen and Mürren. Located on the rail link with Wengen and Mürren it provides easy and regular access to the Jungfrau ski area. You can even return to the village on skis, via the longest run in the area, 15km from the Schilthorn to Lauterbrunnen.

A number of bars and restaurants, Lauterbrunnen is quieter than its neighbours Wengen and Murren.

Family choice
Wengen offers good facilities to look after and care for children during the day. There is an English speaking kindergarten taking children from 2-7 years, held at the Sport Pavilion, 0900-1700 from Sundays to Fridays. Approx. SFr350 for 6 full days incl lunch.
