The Waldhotel is nestled above the rooftops of Davos and at the edge of the forest (Wald). It has a commanding view and is a beautifully restored ex-sanatorium. It was converted into a hotel in 1957 under private ownership and has been lovingly tended to ever since. The hotel is all about unassumed service and quality. There is a gourmet restaurant serving light 5-course selected menus, theme evenings and gala dinners, plus a wine cellar and wine tasting room.
