Sansicario is a little known pearl of the Italian Milky Way. Situated between the large resorts of Sauze d'Oulx and Sestriere, Sansicario was home to a number of events at the 2006 Winter Olympics, including the women's downhill.

The Baby Sansicario chairlift takes beginners up to the top of a couple of gentle blues and with guidance from the excellent ski school first time skiers are soon progressing to the higher slopes. Intermediates and advanced skiers may want to try their hand at the Olympic run or take the new bubble over to Sestriere to access some of the more challegning slopes on offer.
