Skiing

Beginners 

The nursery slopes are situated at the top of the gondola at Dos dei Laresi, easily accessible from the rest of the ski area. This means that Cavalese is an excellent resort for groups of mixed abilities or for families with children skiing for the first time. The friendly ski instructors make learning to ski lots of fun.

Intermediates 

The Alpe Cermis ski area offers some great skiing for intermediates and with virtually every run covered by snow-making facilities, the quality of the snow is always the best it can be. Views of some of the most beautiful mountains in the Dolomites from the top of the Cermis are stunning.

Advanced 

The Cavalese ski area is relatively limited for advanced skiers but the Olimpia piste is a black run 7.2kms long with a vertical drop of 1350m. Winding throught the trees it has some challenging walls and curves. There's always the chance of going further afield, to Obereggen and Pampeago or even to the Dolomiti Superski area, and putting some kilometres under your skis.

Snowboarding 

The gentle slopes of Cavalese are a great place to learn to board. Terrain for intermediates, however is a bit limited. Just up the road in the Latemar ski area there is a snowpark and half pipe.
