Several bars are open early until late and a full après ski programme is arranged by your rep.
· Indoor swimming pool (discount on entrance fee with lift pass) with sauna and fitness room · Sports centre · Cross-country skiing · Ice skating · Telemark ski school · Cleared paths for pleasant walks · Snowshoe walks
Bardonecchia has many restaurants and pizzerie. Pizzas from €6, 3-course meal with wine from €19.
· La Baita for tasty pizzas, or La Filanda in the centre of town for delicious grills.

Melezet and Campo Smith both have extensive beginners areas and with guidance from the friendly ski school first time skiers are soon progressing to the higher long blue runs at Colomion and Melezet.
The ski areas of Melezet and Colomion are linked by a series of magnificent long red and blue runs with several blacks to get the blood racing. The Fisi 50 from Colomion is a World Cup race run and was also an Olympic run in 2006! Take the free ski bus to the Jafferau area where a long double chairlift rises to 1922 metres.
Excellent off-piste skiing for the more experienced skier. High on Jafferau there are wide open bowls with bumps, jumps and gullies above the treeline. Heli-skiing is available for off-piste skiing behind Melezet.
Freeriders will find the wide open terrain great for a cruise, however the many drag lifts might prove a challenge for complete beginners. The more thrill seeking boarders can try out the Olympic half pipe.
