Resort Information
Set amongst the spectacular scenery of the Maurienne Valley, Valloire represents excellent value for money with a friendly, French atmosphere. Valloire, built around a seventeenth century Baroque style church, is a family orientated resort with an authentic and traditional French village feel. The smaller purpose built neighbouring resort of Valmeinier offers spectacular views over the surrounding mountains. The skiing in the two resorts is linked to provide an excellent ski area at the foot of the Galibier Pass.
Après Ski
Valloire: Bar Centrale is lively and popular. Dance the night away at the L'Odysée nightclub or the Village Discothêque. Valmeinier: No Comment for its live music or the lively Le Dannebrog bar. Carry on into the night at the Brasilia nightclub.

Family choice
Valloire is excellent for families. The two ski kindergartens, La Souris Verte and Les Marmottons-L'Ourson offer care and tuition for children from 3 years old, open 0900-1600, approx. €135 for 6 full days. The Les Aiglons nursery takes children from 6 months-6 years and offers care with indoor and outdoor games. Cost approx. €120 for 6 full days, extra €5 per day for lunch. In Valmeinier, the La Galipette nursery cares for children aged 3 months to 8 years. Open Sun-Fri from 0845-1730. Cost approx. €200 for 6 full days including lunch. Pre-booking recommended.
