Resort Information
Compact Val Thorens is Europe's highest village; set in a huge ski bowl, with runs fanning out in all directions, it enjoys excellent snow conditions throughout the season, making it a fantastic place to learn to ski or board. Ski down the valley to Les Menuires and the wonderful La Masse area and then pop over to nearby Courchevel and Meribel on the massive Three Valleys circuit. This is some of the most amazing skiing in the world.
Après Ski
A great resort for après ski. The Frog & Roast Beef (the highest pub in Europe), the Sne Sko and the Ski Rock Café for an excellent après ski atmosphere; Malaysia, for live music, the Underground Disco, the Eclipse bar and the Viking Pub.

Family choice
Prosneige offer tuition for children and have a children's skiing area with an escalator and special play area so children can learn in a fun and safe environment. Ski tuition for 4-12 yrs and board tuition for 6-12 yrs can be pre-booked. A full day with lunch and play time at the sport centre from 12.00pm-2.30pm is available locally. Lunches approx. €92 for 6 days. The ESF runs a non skiing crèche for children aged 18mths to 3 yrs and a nursery for children aged 3-12yrs. 3hrs approx €28.
Fasttrax Ski Weekends
Ski weekends and short breaks. Chalet Elizabeth is available for short breaks only with departures on Thursdays for 3 nights and Sundays for 4 nights. Prices include return flights from Gatwick to Chambery, transfers and fully catered accommodation with the staff night off usually on a Tuesday.the savings
