a traditional village nestled in the heart of the 3 Valleys
St. Martin de Belleville is a quiet, inexpensive base from which to explore the Three Valleys ski area. It is a traditional Savoyard village with a pretty church, small square and some delightful restaurants. From the village there is a fast gondola which provides a direct link up to the slopes of Meribel and Les Menuires and for the return back to the village there is a gently rolling blue run and for the more adventurous the Jerusalum red run, which is a favourite of many a Three Valley veteran.
There are two bars in the centre of the village. The Pourquoi Pas is a cosy bar with a log fire and Brewskis is a more lively bar with music and Karaoke.
Sports hall, 2 spas and beauty centres, dog sleigh rides, snowshoeing, classical music concerts, farm visits, outdoor market & numerous walks
For such a small village there is a huge variety to suit all taste buds. Choose from traditional style Savoyard food to pizzas and pastas.

There are many wide, gentle slopes for improving confidence and allowing an easy descent back to the resort. Complete beginners will enjoy the Learn-to-ski programme and a beginner lift-pass, covering 8 lifts in the Val Thorens ski area.
Try the long, wide red pistes around Funitel, Grand Fond, Boismint or the Peclet glacier. High speed lifts now provide links to Mottaret and the rest of the Three Valleys, or explore the hidden 4th Valley of Orelle, the full Three Valleys circuit offers endless opportunities with minimum queuing, even in high season.
Expert skiers will relish the sheer volume of challenges on offer. From the fabulous powder snow on the Glaciers of Peclet and Chavière, the world-class mogul-bashing on the long steep Cîme de Caron black run, and the infamous Couloirs of Courchevel - the Three Valleys has all this and more
There is no chance of running out of places to ride here. It has terrain to suit any type of rider, be it hammering on the wide open pistes, throwing yourself down the Boardercross course or floating on air in the board park near the Funitel lift - Val Thorens always has the answer. Beginners also have plenty of easy runs leading into the centre of resort. Val Thorens is a great place for people who want to progress in the huge playground that is the Three Valleys.
