Resort Information
Set in the Southern Alps, Serre Chevalier is one of France's most underrated ski resorts, with 250kms of superb runs. The resort is divided into 4 sprawling villages linked by ski runs, an efficient lift system and a regular bus service. Our accommodation is located in Chantemerle and Villeneuve. If you are looking for extensive high altitude skiing, plenty of sunshine, spectacular mountain scenery and value for money, then Serre Chevalier is for you.

Relaxed and informal with a number of popular bars to choose from.Look in at the lively Le Frog and Loco Loco bars with excellent music. Good night clubs include La Baita.

Family choice
There is plenty on offer for children in Serre Chevalier catering for both skiers and non-skiers of all ages. In Chantemerle, the Les Poussins crèche takes children from 8 months-6 years open 9.00am-5.00pm, approx. €34 per day including lunch, and is located right in the centre of the resort. In Villeneuve, there are 2 kindergartens - the Jardins des Neiges for children aged 3-6 years, open 9.15am-12.15pm & 14.30pm-16.30pm, approx. €89 for 6 half days, and the Garderie des Schtroumpfs ('Smurfs') for ages 6 months-6 years. Both are centrally located close to the Fréjus lift. The ski school works with both kindergartens for children who spend part of their day taking lessons and the rest at the Kindergarten.
