First time skiers are well looked after in the Portes du Soleil area. Avoriaz has perfect nursery slopes next to the resort. Morzine has gentle nursery slopes at Le Pleney and our Learn to Ski package is ideal for complete beginners.
The Portes du Soleil is a fantastic area for intermediates. The skiing starts on your doorstep and for those who want to venture further, there is the entire Portes du Soleil circuit, with 650kms of runs. Our Crystal Ski Escorts will help you make the most of your skiing and show you all the best runs in the area.
The Portes du Soleil area has some of the most challenging skiing in France. There are over 20 black runs, including some of the biggest moguls in the world on the 'Wall' at Avoriaz, not to mention endless off-piste possibilities and the hair-raising World Cup Downhill from the top of Les Hauts Forts.
Avoriaz is easily one of the top European snowboarding destinations and regularly features in international magazines. Freeriders should check out the Hauts Forts area.
