Our quality accommodation is found in pretty alpine style Meribel, the peaceful satellite village of Meribel Village and the modern, high altitude Mottaret. The slopes

Beginners

Beginners are well served by many gentle slopes and relaxing runs through the pine trees, including those by the Altiport and Rond Point des Pistes.

Intermediates

(Crystal rating 5)

Intermediate skiers will rejoice in the vast amount of long red runs, ideal for improving your skiing. The Pic Noir runs from the Col de la Loze, descending through the trees or try the excellent 5km red run down the Combe du Vallon.

Advanced

(Crystal rating 4)

Competent skiers will relish the off-piste challenges, powder snow, glacier skiing and steep descents through the trees. Mogul bashers should try the famous 'Les Bosses' black run, while off-piste enthusiasts can enjoy the Mt. Vallon face above Mottaret. Add to this the fast Women's Olympic Downhill run on La Face, and Meribel really has something for everyone.

Off-Piste

Technique Clinic
Snow Systems Ski school offer a variety of advanced ski courses in Meribel. If you want to improve your ski technique and work on developing your carving and how to handle the moguls and the off piste, then pre-book a Ski Technique lesson. The two afternoons intensive technical tuition will give you the chance to improve your all-round skiing and with groups of 3-6 people you will get all the attention you need. Pre-book to reserve your place.
There are two different levels
Intermediate: I can ski blue runs with confidence and red with caution.
High intermediate: I am happy on red runs but need to improve my technique to tackle blacks, moguls and off piste.

Mon and Wed 2.00-4.00pm

Off Piste
The off-piste course is designed for those who already have experience of skiing off piste. Snow system's off piste tuition is not only about improving and refining your off-piste technique, but also about helping you find the most challenging terrain and optimal snow conditions. For your safety you will have an avalanche transceiver and your instructor will be equipped with a backpack containing rescue equipment.So with the advanced ski opportunities available through Snow Systems you will be able to conquer some of the domain's most challenging skiing. Book the off-piste course with your Crystal rep in resort.

Superior Skis
To maximise your potential as an advanced skier, you can pre-book a superior ski package. With the superior package the skis are quicker in the turn, more stable in a straight line and on the whole more responsive.
