Skiing
Beginners
The Three Valleys is a great place for beginners, with a huge range of wide, gentle slopes perfect for confidence building. Les Menuires itself has a relatively uncrowded local area, accessible by gondola or chair from the village.
Intermediates
The possibilities are huge for an intermediate skier, there are some great open slopes that lead back down to the resort from the Meribel Valley. Or you can choose another direction and have lunch in Val Thorens or Mottaret, there's simply too much to list!
Advanced
Expert skiers will relish the sheer volume of challenges on offer. From the fabulous powder snow on the Glaciers of Peclet and Chavière, the world-class mogul-bashing on the long steep Cîme de Caron black run. Head up the the Point de la Masse at 2805m and try some of the off piste routes down to Val Thorens to test yourself.
Snowboarding
There is no chance of running out of places to ride here. It has terrain to suit any type of rider, be it hammering on the wide open pistes, throwing yourself down the Boardercross course or floating on air in the board park near the Funitel lift near Val Thorens. Beginners also have plenty of easy runs leading back to resort. Les Menuires is a great place for people who want to progress in the huge playground that is the Three Valleys.
