Les Deux Alpes ski resort ranks amongst the highest and has a good mix of ski slopes with excellent snow quality. The beginner skier can enjoy an excellent ski school with some great places to learn to ski. The intermediate should head to the glacier to experience the quality of the snow. For the more advanced skier there is some excellent off-piste and it’s well worth hiring a guide for a trip to the off-piste mecca, La Grave. Snowboarders and new skool skiers will enjoy one of the best parks in Europe. The park has a well maintained half pipe, a wide variety of kickers and rails and a boardercross run. Off the slopes Les Deux Alpes ski resort has a lively and friendly atmosphere, plus an excellent variety of interesting shops, a heated outdoor pool and ice rink (FREE with lift pass), and a myriad of lively bars and inviting restaurants.

Les Deux Alpes is an excellent choice for families. We run a dedicated Pepi Penguin club staffed with our qualified English speaking nannies, for children aged 6 months-4 years at the Club Hotel La Brunerie. We also offer a Crystal Whizz Kids Club for children aged 4-11 years in a separate room at the Brunerie. The Pepi Penguin club and Whizz Kids Club are available to all Crystal guests throughout the resort. Furthermore the European Ski School runs an excellent English speaking ski kindergarten, in a specially designated area for children aged 4-6 years from 9.15am-12.00pm or 2.30pm-5.00pm, 6 days per week. We recommend that you book the Whizz Kids Ski School Escort Service together with the ski kindergarten. Please call the Family Hotline on 0871 971 0457 (calls at normal rate). Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Les Deux Alpes is a great resort for beginners with gentle nursery slopes and easy blues. Beginners should quickly progress to 'Les Crêtes' or the gentle glacier runs. There are several FREE beginners lifts to get you started so our First Time ski package just includes a 4 day lift pass making it even better value.
With 225kms of piste intermediates are spoilt for choice. The imposing Mont de Lans glacier ensures year round snow and provides spectacular high altitude skiing with the added bonus of runs which lead directly back to the village.
There are numerous off-piste opportunities including the world renowned descent to La Grave which is open from the end of January to late April. On-piste blacks include the Super Diable and the Belle Etoile.
This is a top resort with terrain to suit everyone. The boardpark at mid-station is well worth checking out with kickers, spines, rails and a boardercross course. The off-piste is huge and challenging, try Serre Chevalier for a day if you like tree runs.
