The village runs are wide, gentle and south facing. The very easy slopes on the glacier mean that even beginners can experience the atmosphere at high altitude.
A perfect resort for go-for-it intermediates, who should be able to cover almost the whole area of marked pistes. The upper slopes provide optimum practice, with good quality snow and gentle runs.
Experts can revel in the extensive off-piste opportunities. Further possibilities include the renowned blacks of nearby Alpe d’Huez; go for the pose and get there by helicopter! Also the entirely off-piste area of neighbouring La Grave is worth a visit.
A top resort for boarders of all standards. The glacier consistently boasts fantastic snow conditions and provides an excellent area for confidence building. For aspiring freestylers there is one of the best parks in Europe. If you are in search of off-piste nirvana, there is plenty to keep you happy. Plus Les Deux Alpes is linked to La Grave, the only dedicated off piste resort in Europe (take a guide and specialist equipment).
