At high altitude, overlooking the magnificent Tarentaise Valley, La Plagne ski resort is one of the most famous and exciting in the world. It offers a wide variety of great skiing, from charming tree-lined runs to skiing above the clouds on the Bellecote glacier. With something for everyone, it is particularly well suited to intermediates who love to explore, the Paradiski area has 425km of piste, shared between La Plagne and Les Arcs, linked by the iconic Vanoise Express cable car. La Plagne is also home to France’s Olympic bobsled track which has been thrilling the public since the 1992 games. For families, our Pepi Penguin and Whizz Kids clubs combined with quality lessons from the ESF are an ideal way to keep your children entertained all day long.

La Plagne 1800 is an excellent choice for families. Next door to Chalet Rose is our Pepi Penguin (6mths-4yrs) & Whizz Kids (4-11yrs) Clubs.
Pepi Penguin: Pepi activities are tailored to our youngest guests and offer a welcoming, safe place to have fun whilst you are on the slopes. Our childcare staff plan a varied selection of activities which include arts and crafts, playing with toys, and a mixture of indoor and outdoor play (when the weather allows).
Experience the thrill of a lifetime with a ride on the Olympic bobsleigh! Just below the resorts of La Plagne the bobsleigh track is just 10 minutes' bus ride away (transport is included in the cost).
Bob Raft £40pp / £128 for family of 4
Ride in complete safety with friends or family. This bob has an automatic braking system, reaching speeds of up to 80km/hr. Each raft will fit 4 passengers, and there is no driver. Children under 14yrs must be accompanied by an adult.
Mono Bob £83pp
A solo ride - fly down the track at 90km/hr in a semi-horizontal position. Min. age 16yrs.
Taxi Bob £87pp
Built like the bobsleigh used for competitions reaching speeds of up to 100km/hr. Each bob will fit 3 passengers and is driven by a professional driver (not suitable for people with heart conditions or pregnant women).

Gentle nursery slopes and excellent English speaking ski instructors ensure that novice skiers will soon be enjoying the multitude of blue and green runs across the resort.
An absolute dream for intermediates. From exhilarating motorway skiing to quiet powder runs in the trees, La Plagne has it all! Try the long run down to Champagny from La Grande Rochette or discover the fabulous skiing on the Glacier de Bellecôte.
Expert skiers will relish this superb area. Try the glorious powder between the trees down to Les Coches, or attempt the dramatic near vertical 2000m drop off the north face of the Bellecôte glacier, for 15kms of skiing (with a mountain guide) or try the breathtaking 7km Aiguille Rouge in Les Arcs.
La Plagne is sure to keep riders happy. Freeriders should head for the Col du Nant if you're up for a challenge. Those looking for a different adventure should head for one of the 5 boardercross 'freestyle zones' with two half pipes (one is a super pipe) and obstacles including rails, hips, big air etc.
