La Plagne ski resort

Snow Range

1250-3250m

a group of villages spread across a vast exciting ski area

At high altitude, overlooking the magnificent Tarentaise Valley, La Plagne ski resort is one of the most famous and exciting in the world. It offers a wide variety of great skiing, from charming tree-lined runs to skiing above the clouds on the Bellecote glacier. With something for everyone, it is particularly well suited to intermediates who love to explore, the Paradiski area has 425km of piste, shared between La Plagne and Les Arcs, linked by the iconic Vanoise Express cable car. La Plagne is also home to France’s Olympic bobsled track which has been thrilling the public since the 1992 games. For families, our Pepi Penguin and Whizz Kids clubs combined with quality lessons from the ESF are an ideal way to keep your children entertained all day long.

Les Coches is a pretty skiing village and a fantastic value offering on the La Plagne side of the Paradiski area. For those in the know Les Coches and in particular the Les Coches apartments are one of the cheapest places to stay in Paradiski. Take a chairlift or the gondola in Les Coches or ski down to the Montchavin chairlift and you will be one of the first skiers at the Vanoise Express to Les Arcs. Throughout the season you will be able to ski right back to the village via either a blue or red run. Les Coches is a quiet village and will suit guests looking for a traditional and friendly atmosphere. There is a supermarket, a few shops, a couple of bars and a selection of restaurants.
