Resort Information
Chamonix is set at the foot of Europe's highest mountain, the awesome Mont Blanc at 4807m. A fascinating and traditional ski resort, the cosmopolitan town centre offers a good range of shops, bars and restaurants whilst the skiing is spread across 5 separate areas, giving huge variety. Argentière lies just 8kms further up the valley from Chamonix and is linked by an efficient bus service (free with your lift pass).
Après Ski

Family choice
Our Pepi Penguin Crèche, in a building in the grounds of Chalets Les Gaillands, Bernadette and Antoinette is open for children staying in any property in Chamonix and is FREE for all children staying in the chalets. During school holidays, we also offer a FREE Whizz Kids Club for children staying in the chalets. Free places must be reserved to guarantee a place. Call our Family Hotline on 0871 971 0457 to pre-book!The ESF run Panda Club in Argentière includes ski lessons with childcare. The club operates daily from 8.30pm - 5.00pm (including travelling time from Chamonix) and caters for children aged between 3 and 12 years.
The club is set in its own grounds with a mini-tow lift and private slopes (lift pass not required). Full days with lunch include a 'Pick Up and Drop Off' service from our chalets and a central point in Chamonix and instructors combine indoor and outdoor activities. Children who can already ski will receive skiing or snowboarding lessons on the main slopes (lift pass not needed for children under 4).
