The slopes

Ski Information Beginners

(Crystal rating 4)

Unbeatable wide gentle green and blue runs for a successful start to skiing. The well-regarded ski school will provide the essential basics.

Ski Information Intermediates

(Crystal rating 5)

The variety is great and the good conditions are difficult to match elsewhere. Fearless intermediates should enjoy most of the super long black runs from Pic Blanc. There are some lovely long runs down to 0z and Vaujany. Most intermediates would be working very hard to cover all areas of Alpe d'Huez in a week.

Ski Information Advanced

(Crystal rating 4)

Ideal for experts as some of the most testing terrain in France is here, including La Sarenne, one of the longest blacks in Europe and the notorious Tunnel Run, plus many off-piste options.

Ski Information Snowboarding

(Crystal rating 5)

Alpe d'Huez offers some amazing and varied terrain, keen freeriders will be in their element here. You can go in search of powder in areas such as Villard-Recluas, Auris and the Glacier de Sarenne. Freestylers will be smiling too as there is a pipe and snowboard park, plus an abundance of natural kickers and rollers all around the resort.
