Resort Information
Nestling amidst pine forests in the beautiful Rila mountains, Borovets is Bulgaria's oldest established and largest resort, with snow conditions amongst the best in Eastern Europe. Beginners will get the best possible start with the highly rated ski school. Our 'First time' ski and snowboard packages offer great savings and are the ideal way to get you started. For intermediates there are a good variety of runs and some interesting diversions for experts. There are numerous restaurants, bars and discos at bargain prices, making a holiday in Borovets extremely good value for money.
Après Ski
Wide choice of cafés, bars and shops. Borovets is well known for its bars, ranging from a traditional inn with a log fire to one of the numerous busy bars with loud music and dancing. Try Black Tiger, Buzz Bar, or either of the night clubs at Samokov and Rila hotels.

Family choice
Borovets is an excellent choice for families. For customers staying at the Hotel Samokov there is a special offer at their Ski Kindergarten: 1 FREE child place (4-7yrs. inc.) when 2 adults pre-book a 'First time' or 'Large ski pack'. ------- Another option is the Hotel Rila complex, who also offer their own independent kindergarten. Local charge is approx. 262 Leva (approx. £95) per child (facilities are limited). Located within the hotel building, the Kindergarten is for children from 12 months-7 years old inclusive, (12 months-3 years) are cared for by the nannies based in the hotel, (4-7yrs. some daily ski tuition also included).Please note: Places requested are guaranteed, but these services can only be booked and paid for locally.

FREE child lift pass up to and including 11 years of age, if pre-booked and when accompanied by an adult pre-booking a lift pass (cannot be used in conjunction with the adult free lift pass offer).
Children aged 7 and under have free use of the ski lifts when accompanied by a parent.
