This picturesque, old goldminers' valley with fresh clean air and crystal clear winters is situated in the Hohe Tauern National Park between the Gastein valley and Zell am See - amongst some of the highest mountains in Austria. In recent years, Rauris has become one of our most popular 'Inclusive Specials' resorts*, with ski/snowboard packs included for all adults and children (from 4 years). A well-kept secret, the pretty alpine village of Rauris is a great destination for beginners, for mixed level groups of skiers and snowboarders and for families.

Cross Country Skiing

There are 45km of cross country skiing trails across 5 loops in the stunning scenery of the National Park area surrounding Rauris. This is a wonderful way to enjoy this winter wonderland scenery. Equipment is included in your holiday price and tuition is also available.
