Resort Information

Itter is a pretty Tirolean village centred around a picturesque church and castle. It lies at the foot of the Hohe Salve mountain 10 minutes' along the valley from Söll. There are a couple of nursery slopes in the village and the nearby Itter gondola (short ski bus ride away) whisks you up onto the Hohe Salve into the main ski area. At the end of the day a great red run through the trees brings you right back to the gondola or into the village. Itter is a charming, small village. In the evenings you can enjoy a drink or two at one of the local bars, which are mainly in hotels, or if you want a lively night out the resort of Söll is just 10 minutes drive away (approx. €15 by taxi for up to 8 people).
