The village centre has a relaxed atmosphere and all facilities are close together. The scenic, quiet skiing around Berwang is ideal for beginners and intermediates and for more challenging skiing, both the Zugspitz Arena and Garmisch-Partenkirchen and both covered by the Happy Card lift pass, approx 40-60 minutes away by free ski bus.

The slopes
Beginners
With an array of nursery slopes and long, wide blue runs, Berwang is a beginners playground and the perfect place to learn to ski. The quality of English speaking instruction is fantastic for all, but children in particular will enjoy the 'Bobo the Penguin' themed ski school.
Intermediates
Ideal for those who want to build confidence on tree lined slopes in glorious surroundings. There is plenty to explore and Berwang village has a great location allowing you to discover the varied ski area and check out the local specialities in the mountain restaurants.
Advanced
There are mostly blue runs in the local area but with the Happy Ski Card you can take the ski bus and explore the more advanced skiing in the Zugspitze and Garmisch-Partenkirchen ski areas (40-60 minutes by free ski bus).
Snowboarding
With a reliable snow record Berwang is the perfect resort to learn to board and intermediates can improve their skills on quiet slopes in an attractive setting. Advanced boarders will enjoy navigating the varied ski area for a couple of days before seeking out the more challenging terrain in the Zugspitz and Garmisch-Partenkirchen areas (40-60 mins by free ski bus).
