Lift passes, equipment and tuition in easy to book, great value bundles.
If you're new to the slopes, professional tuition is a great way to pick up all the basics in a short time. After just a few lessons, you might even want to hit the slopes on your own.
You’ll have much more fun on the slopes as a beginner if you take some lessons from a qualified instructor. In fact, however experienced you are you can improve your game with professional tuition.
It makes sense to book your lessons before you go – it means less hassle when you arrive and you’ll get more skiing time in. At peak times, like the spring half term at the end of February, classes get fully booked pretty quickly too, so booking in advance will guarantee you a place.
If you’re a newcomer to the world of skiing, go for our First Time Pack – there’s no better way of building your confidence. The pack includes beginners’ skis and boots, 5 or 6 days’ tuition and local lift passes at selected resorts: everything you need to get you started.
Where can I learn to ski?
Virtually all of our resorts offer good beginners' facilities, and you will find our resort ratings a useful guide in making your choice.
Our top recommendations for beginners
Please note: in many cases, a full lift pass is required straight away and has therefore been included, while in other resorts you may or may not need to use the main lifts on the first 2 or 3 days. Depending on the resort and how quickly you progress, if a lift pass is not included you will need to budget for at least a 3-5 day lift pass, purchased locally.
